My educational experience extends itself from Toronto to Saskatoon with a background in Psychology and Social Work. My passion and draw is working with children and youth. I have many years of applicable knowledge and experience. I believe in a wrap around support to fully meet a clients needs as they embark on their personal and healing journey. I share the belief that counselling extends itself both in a clinical setting, and in the community. Both professionally and personally I have experience with navigating the health care system with a complex child. I am a strong advocate for families with complex kids with medical needs.

Personally, I have four children; three loud active boys and one passionate and strong-willed daughter. I share a love for travel, having lived in Europe, and Asia. I have been to many different countries and hope to rekindle my passion for travel with my husband and children as they grow older.

I was born and raised in Lanigan, Saskatchewan. I grew up on my family farm surrounded by goats, horses, dogs, and cats! At an early age I fell in love with the sport of Track and Field and competed as a sprinter for over 15 years competitively. I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology at the University of Saskatchewan. I hold a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. As a clinical counselor I am committed to my client’s wellness and put their therapeutic journey at the forefront of my practice. I love meeting clients where they are and helping them create a treatment plan suited to their goals. I use strength-based approaches founded with empirical evidence and often draw upon self-regulation strategies, CBT, and exposure and response prevention. I am passionate about using both holistic and strength-based approaches and working collaboratively with my clients to build lasting change. I am here to help you wherever you are in life. I work to offer a compassionate, empathetic, and client-centered space and am focused on building healing and wholeness. I am so excited to meet you and assist you on your journey!
